Matt Bippart is an artist, songwriter and music producer from Hackettstown, a small rural town in New Jersey. He was introduced to music at a very young age by his Mother who was a lead singer in a wedding band. At the age of 10, Matt learned to play drums, bass guitar and keyboards. Blessed with a raw musical talent, Matt is completely self taught, having never taken any lessons.

 

As an adolescent, he dedicated his musical talent to his church; singing and playing drums in the youth praise band. In high school, Matt was part of American Music Abroad where he traveled to 6 different countries. This widened his musical appetite tremendously.

 

With his own music brimming inside him Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in Audio and Music Production. Matt has been recognized as having a strong relative pitch which makes producing and creating melodies an easy and natural process.

 

During his last year in college, Matt began suffering with severe anxiety. During these dark days and nights, Matt poured his heart and soul into his songwriting and recording. He says his music and the blessings of God is what got him through these tough times. Matt’s goal is to spread his message and music to teens and young adults that are suffering with anxiety and mental health

to help them to know they are not alone in their experiences.

 

Matt sets to unveil his emotive debut single 'Stay On Top' accompanied by a stunningly directed video with the aim of raising more awareness for mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. His music is raw and versatile, ranging from heartfelt ballads to infectious high vibrational hip hop.

Crafted entirely in Matt's basement, his Emo Rap sonic references the likes of Juice WRLD and Kid Laroi while eschewing the usual content of drugs and excess for a theme of soul searching and self healing.
